When ultraviolet photons irradiate the surface of a material, it will excite electrons in the material to jump from atomic orbitals to neighboring atomic orbitals, forming electron-hole pairs. The number of these electron-hole pairs increases with increasing amounts of UV radiation. In the electrode of the sensor, the number of electron-hole pairs will cause a change in current. The circuit will amplify this current change and convert it into a digital signal. The output digital signal will be processed by relevant algorithms to obtain ultraviolet radiation data.
Measuring range: 0~400W/m2
Measure the intensity of UV rays
This product is suitable for educational use only and is not suitable for industrial, medical, research, or commercial applications.
The photosensitive element is located at the end of the probe. When measuring, care should be taken to keep it facing the direction of the light being measured.
