Thermocouple Sensor

Features

Specifications

I. Working principle

The thermistor is used as the sensing element to directly convert the change in temperature into a change in resistance value, which is then processed by a bridge circuit and converted into a change in voltage and amplified for output.

II. Specifications

Measuring range: -200~+1250℃;

Resolution: ±0.5℃.

III.Structure and function

  1. Connect to the datalogger through the lightning interface, support front and back blind plugging, have hot-swappable function, and stable connection and transmission;
  2. Use a dataloggerto connect to computers, mobile phones, tablets and other terminals through wired or wireless methods for data collection;
  3. The sensor supports common systems on the market, such as iOS, Android, windows systems, etc.

IV.Typical applications

Thermocouple is used to replace thermometers used in experiments in chemistry, physics, biology, earth sciences, and environmental sciences. Some typical applications: such as internal and external temperature of flame, distillation of petroleum, endothermic and exothermic experiments, thermal effect of light, etc.

V.Caution

This product is suitable for educational use only and is not suitable for industrial, medical, research, or commercial applications.

VI.Usage Tips

  1. The thermal element of thethermocouple is placed on the top of the metal probe of the sensor. When using it, the measured object must be in full contact with it.
  2. Pay attention to protecting the metal probe of the sensor. Do not pull, press, or expose it to other stress states.
  3. Do not rub or knock metal needles on hard objects; do not use flames to directly heat metal probes.
  4. Do not use in highly corrosive environments.
