I. Working principle

The principle of spirometry testing is based on the principles of gas physics and physiology and measures the maximum volume of gas inhaled and exhaled by the human body. This test is a standard test for assessing lung function and physical training, and can also be used to diagnose and treat disease. The principle of spirometry testing is based on Boyle’s law, which states that gas volume is directly proportional to pressure and inversely proportional to temperature and humidity. During the test, the subject stands or sits, takes a deep breath, exhales as much as possible, and then inhales as much as possible to fill the lungs with air. The tester uses a volume meter or flow meter to measure the subject’s lung volume and airflow velocity.

III.Structure and function

  1. Connect to the datalogger through the lightning interface, support front and back blind plugging, have hot-swappable function, and stable connection and transmission;
  2. Use a dataloggerto connect to computers, mobile phones, tablets and other terminals through wired or wireless methods for data collection;
  3. The sensor supports common systems on the market, such as iOS, Android, windows systems, etc.

IV.Typical applications

Testing lung capacity is a simple, safe, non-invasive way to help individuals understand the health of their lungs.

V.Caution

This product is suitable for educational use only and is not suitable for industrial, medical, research, or commercial applications.

VI.Usage Tips

  1. When testing vital capacity, you need to use a spirometry tester mouthpiece. The spirometry tester mouthpiece is disposable and should not be used cross-wise.
  2. Before the test, connect the mouthpiece and tube of the spirometry tester to the spirometry meter;
  3. Breathe in as much gas as possible before the test.
