Description

Designed to demonstrate energy conservation, rotational inertia, and the relationship between linear and angular motion, this Maxwell’s pendulum features a 100 mm rigid plastic or metal disk on an 8–10 mm central axle. The disk includes a red marker for tracking and is suspended by adjustable 300–400 mm high-strength nylon or cotton strings symmetrically fixed to a horizontal bar. The unit is supported by a robust frame of stainless steel or aluminum vertical posts and a base with anti-slip rubber feet.
