Front Panel Components: The front panel houses the “Network” automatic circuit breaker; transformer T2; circuit breaker QF1; differential machine QF3; magnetic starters KM1 and KM2; relays K1-K3; fuse FU1; load resistors R1 and R2; ammeters A1 and A2; voltmeters V1 and V2; two-element wattmeters W1 and W2; speedometer n; LATR T1; time relays KT1 and KT2; thermal relay KA1; incandescent lamp HE1; a fluorescent lamp; capacitors C1-C3; switches SA1, SA3-SA5; button posts SB1 and SB2; and call HA1.

Rear Panel and Internal Arrangement: The back panel features a section depicting the installation of electric lighting in an apartment. All electric machine shafts are mechanically coupled. Indicator lamps monitor the three-phase voltage supply to the stand. The right side of the stand contains a functional block for studying the asynchronous motor and its drive. The starting devices used in this scheme are located on the left. The central part of the panel houses the rear devices for researching the DC machine (DPT) and the transformer.

Circuit Assembly and Documentation: To assemble the circuits under study, connect the corresponding elements with connecting wires (jumpers) according to the schematic diagrams provided in the methodical instructions. A set of methodical and technical documentation for the teaching staff is included with the stand.

List of Performed Works: The stand facilitates the following activities: testing the grounding circuit; testing an electric motor with switching devices; testing capacitors for power factor improvement; studying lighting network protection; studying the rules for installing electric lighting in an apartment; studying the operation of fluorescent lamps; identifying and troubleshooting automated electric drives; testing the AC electric motor after repair; testing the DC motor after repair; post-repair testing of start-up control equipment; testing power transformers after repair; and studying methods for locating cable line damage.

Technical Specifications: The power supply is 3 ~ 380/220 V, 50 Hz. Power consumption is no more than 0.5 kW. The overall dimensions of the floor-standing version are 1310 mm (width) x 1470 mm (height) x 600 mm (depth), weighing 60 kg. The desktop version’s dimensions are no more than 1310 mm (width) x 680 mm (height) x 600 mm (depth), weighing 45 kg.
