FORCE WIRELESS SENSOR

Features

Specifications

I. Working principle

The wireless force sensor uses resistance strain gauge technology. The sensor forms a beam structure. When the sensor is stressed, the beam bends, the resistance strain gauge will deform, and its resistance value will change accordingly. A bridge circuit composed of resistance strain gauges The output voltage will change; this signal is very weak and must be amplified and processed accordingly to obtain the final required output signal.

  1. The sensor terminal comes with a 1.8-inch color LCD screen.
  2. The sensor terminal is equipped with 5 function buttons. The operation interface is simple and convenient.
  3. The sensor terminal supports high-speed USB data channel, which enables high speed transmission of the data from the terminal to other devices such as PC, tablet or mobile phone.
  4. The sensor terminal supportswireless communication with experimental terminals.
  5. The sensor terminal has a built-in removable batterywith a capacityof 1800mAh.
  6. The sensor terminal is designed with a hidden buckle sensor interface to support combined experiments with other sensors.
  7. The sensor terminal has designed a fixation spot to get itfixed on the iron frameconveniently and combined with traditional lab equipment for experiments.
  8. The sensor terminal supports the latest operating systems, such as iOS, Android, windows operating systems, etc.

IV.Typical applications

This is a universal force sensor that can be easily operated by hand through the finger hole, and can also be installed on accessories such as a mechanical trolley for experimental measurements. It applies to Newton’s second and third laws; Hooke’s law; the law of supergravity and weightlessness; the momentum theorem; Ampere’s force measurement, etc.

V.Caution

This product is suitable for educational use only and is not suitable for industrial, medical, research, or commercial applications.

VI.Usage Tips

  1. It can measure both tension and pressure. The software stipulates that tension readings are positive values and pressure readings are negative values.
  2. During the measurement process, attention should be paid to keeping the force direction of the sensor perpendicular to the end face of the sensor. Inclination of the force direction, such as pulling or pressing the sensor diagonally, will cause inaccurate measurement results.
  3. Perform software zero adjustment on the force sensor before use. Do not use it beyond the range during use. After use, the force sensor should be prevented from being stressed for a long time to protect the instrument.
  4. Since the force sensor hook itself has a small weight, the reading will be different when the force sensor hook is moved upwards and downwards, so please zero the force sensor through the software before use.
